Act Now: Protect Telehealth Access Before It’s Too Late!
Your voice matters in this critical moment. Reach out to your legislators today to urge their swift action to extend vital telehealth flexibilities before time runs out.
Key Medicare telehealth flexibilities and the Acute Hospital Care at Home program are set to expire at the end of March unless Congress and the Trump administration act now. Millions of patients could lose access to critical virtual care services if these programs are not extended or permanently enacted before March 31.
We are also urging Congress to take action to reinstate virtual cardiopulmonary rehabilitation programs and expand the Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program.
These temporary flexibilities have supported millions of Americans in accessing quality care since President Trump and Congress first expanded telehealth access five years ago. Allowing the Medicare telehealth flexibilities and Acute Hospital Care at Home Program to lapse now would reverse our incredible progress in making healthcare more accessible, efficient, and patient-centered. In addition, there has already been a significant gap in care for tens of thousands of patients receiving cardiopulmonary services since this waiver expired at the of the COVID-19 public health emergency and therefore, needs to be reinstated as soon as possible.
Please reach out to your Members of Congress and U.S. Senators today and urge them to act before it’s too late! Simply complete the form in the orange box to access everything you’ll need to contact your legislators with this important message.
Protect access. Protect patients. Protect telehealth.
